The bartender is welcoming. The drink is strong and refreshing($10 HH). The bathroom is clean and I looove the decor. Definitely what's needed after work!
Motel Morris was a pleasant surprise. I didn't have much expectation prior to going and it was a really nice space. Pretty bar and a quick cool bartender. We walked right in and sat at the bar. The Snow Bird cocktail tasted a bit like a full green tea shot so would probably try something else next time I go. Good experience, need to go back to try some food.
Such a great space the bartenders are always very personable and attentive only think that I don't like is that you guys close too early I never want to live lol
Delicious well done burger. Really good classic Benedict. The fries were thin and crispy. We'll definitely come back for brunch. Loved the atmosphere.
Came here on a Saturday for dinner at 7:30pm. The place was pretty packed so I was glad I had made a reservation. The menu was pretty reasonable with lots of choices to choose from. My friends and I decided to share dishes. I really liked the eggplant croquettes, unfortunately the pic I took of it didn't come out well but it was the standout dish for me. Our waiter was nice and friendly; he recommended dishes to chose.
Three great brunch dishes; Shakshuka, Shrimp Gyro Salad, Huevos Ranchero, all served in a nice setting by an attentive serving staff. My daughter said her Huevos Rancheros were the best she has ever had anywhere.
Solid neighborhood spot with friendly service. Cute and inviting space. Not somewhere I'd go out of my way for, but a nice, good consistent low key option in the area. I had a glass of red wine and the kale salad with salmon which was nothing special, but hit the spot.
Motel Morris is a great neighborhood staple. I've been now for both dinner and brunch and highly enjoyed both meals. Not sure which I would put on top but we have had phenomenal service / we had our pug with us both time and he even got his own bowl for water and extra pets from servers. Highly recommend their draft cocktails and pancakes at brunch. We'll be back!!!
Came to Motel Morris on a Sunday around 2. I expected there wouldn't be many people there but it was completely packed. Even when we left at 3:30 people were still waiting to get in. My friend says it's her favorite brunch spot so I came in with pretty high expectations, and it was really good but just not my favorite spot in the city. The pancakes (which she ordered) sort of tasted like Cinnabon. Is that the point?! Who knows. I got the huevos. They were good but didn't blow me away. I may also just not be a brunch person though =\ I've heard this spot is really good for dinner so I'd definitely be willing to come back to give that a go. Also, if this matters to you, the restaurant is very like chic and instagrammy.
I hadn't been to Motel Morris in awhile; I was in the neighborhood, and hadn't had lunch, so, I stopped in. The restaurant has a great interior - it's got a nice vibe to it, and a warm inviting space. I saw a salad with grilled chicken on the menu - I also saw a fried chicken sandwich (which I'd had before). I asked if they could substitute the grilled chicken for the fried chicken. No problem. The large iceberg wedges, with tomatoes, country bacon and a delicious homemade green goddess dressing was excellent!
